Caro vita e caro benzina incidono sugli stili di vita degli italiani, anche quando si tratta di andare al lavoro. Il mezzo di trasporto preferito e' la moto (23%), versatile ed economica e sempre piu' utilizzata in coppia, anche se si registra un aumento delle persone che si recano sul posto di lavoro a piedi:
ben un italiano su 20 si appresta a percorrere mediamente 5 chilometri al giorno pur di risparmiare benzina. I dati emergono da una ricerca di Andrea Carollo, presidente dell'Associazione dei Personal Trainer, realizzata in occasione dell'Eicma 2011, il salone internazionale del motociclo che si terra' a Milano fino a domenica. Lo studio - si precisa - e' stato condotto su un campione di 800 lavoratori di ambo i sessi equamente distribuiti tra nord, centro e sud Italia, di eta' compresa tra i 24 e i 60 anni.
Dal sondaggio emerge che la parte del leone la fanno le due ruote: ben il 31% degli intervistati afferma di utilizzare moto o scooter per recarsi sul lavoro, meglio se in due organizzando una sorta di moto-sharing tra colleghi. Si affida invece ai pedali della bicicletta il 19% degli italiani. L'auto resta imprescindibile per il 24% del campione, mentre un 17% utilizza i mezzi pubblici. Non trascurabile il 6% che sceglie di recarsi a piedi sul luogo di lavoro. Il restante 3%, infine, dichiara di utilizzare soluzioni alternative, dalle navette aziendali al passaggio di un collega fino all'autostop.
''I dati - dice Pierfrancesco Caliari, direttore generale di Confindustria Ancma - non mi stupiscono. Due ruote vogliono dire passione, ma anche, e soprattutto, mobilità all'interno del tessuto urbano. La semplicita' con la quale ci si puo' muovere in tale contesto e' evidente. Un esempio e' dato dalla possibilita' di accedere nelle zone a traffico limitato''.
Se proprio non e' possibile percorrere le distanze a piedi, la moto si rivela comunque uno dei mezzi preferiti da chi e' attento al risparmio. Le motivazioni? I consumi ridotti (28%), la possibilità di raggiungere più rapidamente il luogo di lavoro con un risparmio anche in termini di tempo (23%), l'opportunita' di evitare parcheggi a pagamento (19%), costi di manutenzione minori (16%), possibilita' di condividerla in due (11%), altro il 3%. A scegliere la moto sono soprattutto le giovani coppie (32%), che preferiscono utilizzare un unico mezzo per muoversi in due. Seguono i precari (22,5%), che, svolgendo a volte piu' di un lavoro, la preferiscono per la sua versatilità. Gli impiegati (18%) e gli imprenditori (12,5%) la indicano come mezzo ideale per sgusciare nel traffico. Mentre tra gli operai, lavorando spesso fuori città, è solo il 9% a spostarsi sulle due ruote, altro il 6%
